Exclusion factors are
-more than 3 hours from onset of symptoms,
-over 80 years of age,
-history of prior cerebrovascular accident or diabetes,
-an NIHSS > 25,
-extensive infarct on CT scan and
-other standard exclusion criteria such as recent surgery, clotting disorders or an INR > 1.3.
